This is interesting stuff. Apparently more traffic comes to your virtual tours from Redfin, than from any other source. Of course, Redfin gets the link and other information from the MLS, which comes in a very close second. Zillow is also making a great showing, which means agents and home sellers have figured out that it’s important to add your virtual tour there. That’s a very popular consumer site. Like Redfin, Trulia and others also get much of their information and the virtual tour link from the MLS. THEY DESERVE A HUGE THANK YOU! WHY? They’re sending their customers to YOU. With the popularity of virtual tours, some major companies are banning virtual tour links, or making them harder to find, because they don’t want eyeballs taken away to another site. So, seriously… these companies deserve our applause.
Perhaps the biggest story here is Facebook. Top selling agents have figured it out!!! Yes, three exclamation points. They’ve figured out that buyers and sellers share their virtual tours with everyone they know – friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers. And when they do, they’re not just telling the world about your listings… they’re essentially referring you. PreviewFirst virtual tours make you look good. If nothing else, the numbers here show how important it is for PreviewFirst agents to make the most of their profile pages. Make sure you have a photo, logo, website link, email, and be sure to include a great property description with each tour.
