Once completed, can I add, rearrange or delete photos from the Virtual Tour?

Yes, you can add/rearrange or delete the photos in your virtual tour anytime.  To edit your virtual tour, please log into your PreviewFirst.com account and select “Manage Tours” and then again on “Manage” to the right of the property address you would like to edit.  Here, on the left is an option to “Modify Tour”.  There are 3 tabs in which you can select, please click on “Update Photos”.  Here, you can add/delete and rearrange your images.  Once you have made your selection, don’t forget to click on “Save Photo Arrangement” at the bottom – which will save all edits you have made.  Please allow up to 15 minutes for the edits to be reflected on your virtual tour.

Hi. I’m trying to edit my Virtual Tour. When I click on a photo and try to drag it to a new position, nothing happens. Help!

Good question. Thanks Julie. We’ve seen this happen with some versions of Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer provides an option called compatibility view, at the right side of your address field. If you press the compatibility view icon, the page should refresh and you will be able to rearrange your photos.

If that doesn’t work, you may not have a good installation of flash. Which is a required component for this application. Please give the compatibility view icon a try and let us know how it works out.

Hi, Steve. I’m sure once I learn your new system it’ll be great and probably easier than what I’m used to, but I feel lost at the moment. The first thing I want to do it pull one shot out of the VT but save it for use in the MLS. I also am not clear on how to save the PRINT and WEB versions to m desktop for use in the MLS and brochures…. Thanks for your assistance.

Hi Barb, Thanks for your question. While we did move to a new virtual tour platform last year, and some new tour options are now available, nothing has changed with regard to how you download or arrange your photos. You still download the web and print photos the same way you always have, and once you’ve downloaded your photos, you can delete it from the tour by clicking the Red X on each thumbnail image. Here’s a little video that walks you through the download options. http://blog.previewfirst.com/2011/12/how-do-i-save-the-photos-to-my-computer/

Can I delete photos from the website without altering the virtual tour? I love the tour but don’t like some of the stills.

Our virtual tours are made up of photos. The stills are what make up the virtual tour. If you delete a photo from the photo arrangement, it will delete it from all parts of the virtual tour. Does that answer your question?

How can I load my virtual tours to our MLS? I followed the instructions but it did not work.

The CRMLS requires you to add the virtual tour to your listing, via their website. Copy the URL (MLS version) from your PreviewFirst account and paste it in the available field in your MLS website. The field you want, is usually located in the same area where you would upload your photos. Most MLS system provide phone support or instructions for you.

I have just completed the changing/ rearranging of one of my VT. I love the freedom it allows me. But . . . what I am concerned about is that some of the photos near the end of the VT have “black borders” along the sides. I have never seen it before. The photos are of high quality, so that is not the reason. I also would like to know how many photos can I use as I was concerned that that might be the problem, but that is not so.

If I delete a photo from my VT and later decide I want to include it after all, can I add it back? If so, how?

      David,

If PreviewFirst takes the photos for you, the photos will remain in the zip file delivered. So, if you decide later that you want to add it back in, you can get it from there and upload it. If you need help understanding how to upload photos to your tour, please see the video above and you’ll notice where it demonstrates the “upload photos” section.
